That looked like the call that ended the game for the Nats last night, strike 3 called when down 8-4 in the top of the 9th with the bases loaded and 2 outs.

Orioles gave away two outs that inning. Why would you run and swing away 3-0 when a guy can't throw strikes?

At the time Cedric ran Sims had been throwing some strikes… not saying it wasn’t a bad idea overall, just that we didn’t know yet how all over the place Sims was.

I’m torn on O’Hearn, as eventually you do have to get another couple hits to come back and win this game and gambling that Sims might throw a cookie to get a strike there is a reasonable wager.

Pretty hard to not score when you get 2BB & 1HBP in an inning.   Impressive.
