If that was/is the front office’s evaluation, I wonder why they didn’t acquire a better deliver or another one in addition? Especially given how bad the other middle relievers are.

Bad game. Fuji doesn't belong on the club. He's had more disastrous outings than decent ones. And the mental mistakes make me think something is not right with Mateo. He was sharp early in the season, but what has he done for us lately?

Mateo makes me madder than Fuji.  Mateo has looked like a dump for three months now and should not be here anymore.  We are just figuring out what we have in Fuji.  And so far Fuji is not to be depended on at all.  Would rather see Baker give up grand slams than watch Fuji walk everyone hit two guys.  That was insane.

It was a winnable game, but you have to tip you cap to their starter and to that at-bat by Guerrero. That was the at-bat that probably won the game for them.

They can try to sell Flaherty to us all they want. He's not an innings eater like they claim. He's failed to get beyond 60 innings in 4 out of his 7 seasons.

Tough game after a trade deadline where you did not get an impact reliever and kept Jorge Mateo around.

Already practicing my breathing exercises for the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings in October. Any of these middle relief guys can seemingly implode at any moment.
