Mateo has great speed, but it takes more than that to be a good center fielder. Mateo takes a better angle on that ball and he makes the catch. That's a play an experienced center fielder.

We also have to remember if Cano doesn't give up that inherited runner in the 8th, Bautista gets the night off most likely.

That's a play most outfielders make. He made two detours in that route then just plain dropped it.
