I agree that its hard not to be Bochy or Baker and not have post season tricks up their sleeve. But I suspect those tricks manifest more in the background of getting your team in the post season vibe than in the details of in game strategy. On a random aside, why did the Giants get rid of Bochy?…or Baker for that matter. I think both are cool.

The Texas defense has been the star of the playoffs so far.

Rangers are 6-0 in the postseason. Their pitching has been nails (other than Game 2 against the O's). Postseason is indeed a different season.

I'm going to say it now. I think that the Texas Rangers will win the World Series. They have the best manager of all final 4 teams, and the best offense, and their starting pitching is really good too.

Its like Luis Arraez's batting skill in Samuel Basallo's body.

Seems like he pretty much has to be Bonds zone here on in.

Since he broke in 2019, the five regular season >150 wRC+'s are:

Judge 170, Trout 167, Yordan 166, Soto 155, Freeman 152

For me he has an edge on those other four guys for Best Hitter in the World.

Wow, sure would be great to sign a player like Yordan Alvarez out of Cuba.  Do you guys think that market is tapped out or do you think they still have recruitable talent?  Seems to me it's pretty hit or miss with how guys from Cuba do in the States.
