Red Sox grab Aroldis Chapman for 1/10.75. He still averages nearly 100 on his sinker despite being 37. Not that I'm all that concerned facing him and his high-3s/low-4s ERA, but it's a decent signing for the Sox, who I remain very nervous about this offseason. -
Well ... Maybe he would deal one of Castillo, Kirby, Gilbert, or Woo. I'm guessing a deal that offered Gilbert, Mounty, and a couple minor league players would work. I keep seeing Castillo as the named mentioned. -
Not because I'm saying so ...But, He certainly looked like a pitcher thats done! Especially at AAA

C'mon. Irvin wasn't what he was when he was lighting up the radar gun in gym shorts last year. Past velocity does matter, especially when you're still under 30. If you're going to slam Elias for this, then you can't really praise him for finding a guy like Suarez off the scrap heap and say what a brilliant move that was. It's not the same move as the Suarez scrap heap, but it almost almost almost is. I don't want to hear any whining about Norby and Stowers. Odds are Rogers doesn't really become that great but there's a chance that he does. And whatever Elias and SigBot look at to help with player acquisition to hone in on a guy ike Suarez, is, I'm assuming, whatever they're looking at Rogers with. You don't have to like it, but it's not throwing darts at a dartboard, although it probably appears that way to some. -

Or Cowser. But Seattle would never trade Gilbert for a trade that headlines Cowser.
