So encouraging to FINALLY see Westburg get into one at the MLB level. That HR was absolutely pulverized and you can see how much power he has when he gets one of his hard hit balls in the air. Did it a lot in the minors obviously and just hasn’t quite clicked against MLB pitching until that HR. Must have been big for him mentally too. Hopefully it’s a sign of more to come!

He’s got lose the stache and go full beard, full stubble, or clean shaven.  The stache only doesn’t work for too many guys.

I've been on the Westburg bandwagon ever since he and Henderson showed up in Salisbury. The amazing part is, he's kind of overshadowed in Baltimore through no fault of his own. That's a pretty stacked team when Westburg is the fifth or sixth best player on the field on a given night.

I am a big believer on Westburg as well. I hope he starts to settle into a routine and he gets on a roll offensively now that he is going to get most of his starts at a single position. He seems like a guy who thrives on a consistent routine.

Could the wall have possibly helped Westburg so far?  Two homers. One to LCF. One to RCF. Gap to gap power. He’s been carrying us.

Majestic homerun last night. Without looking up the statistics, besides Henderson I believe Westburg has hit the ball hard most consistently. At opening day my wife was asking me who my favorite players are and Westburg was second name behind Gunnar.

He is ahead of Gunnar in hart hit %

He was surprising me by quietly becoming one of my favorites, especially after I found him kinda dull last year. Last night did nothing to dissuade my newfound fandom.

Never a doubt in my mind  he wouldn’t show out.  Easy power, incredible athlete, even keeled, and on a mission to outwork everyone to become great.

Imagine Westburg coming up in the 2000s dark ages era. We would have been treating this guy like Jackson Holliday. Now he barely gets a mention due to the Adley/Gunnar/Holliday trio. It's wild how much talent we have.

His path gets real simple if Mayo can't field 3B.    

He's very good to have whether it becomes the DeCinces kind of role or the Zobrist one, should Mayo's glove make it.
