I liked Tony back when he was on the Astros. I tend to glom onto random players who aren't necessarily the best at what they do. Chris Gomez, Juan Encarnacion, etc.

His signing makes even less sense. Elias had Maton and Wong in house. Maybe Wong had a higher salary if he made it, but why he felt a need to go get Kemp still makes no sense. I mean, why not just give Norby that time in the big leagues until they were going to bring up Holliday?

Just weird all around.
