Yeah, I think Stowers and Hays for Kjerstad and McKenna. And it's just that we're only hearing about Stowers right now.

We shuffled Vavra and McKenna around last year before Hicks in order to have someone “sharp” on the bench. Kjerstad needs some reps. Stowers is “sharp” because he’s been getting reps. We’ll see what happens when Hays comes back. It could be McKenna or Stowers.

Could it be Stowers up and Kremer to the IL?  Roll with a big bench until Grayson is activated?

I have a feeling maybe Mullins is heading to the IL, he didn't play in the last two games.  Can easily bring up Hays and Stowers if Mullins goes on the IL.

Btw, Kjerstad is getting optioned today in favor of Kyle Stowers. Not sure if Hays for McKenna is happening as well today or if that will wait a little longer.

Because we really need *another* LH OF/DH? If it was a big bench situation I would guess a 3rd C instead of even more competition for Kjerstad.

I think that’s exactly it. Don’t want better prospect rotting on bench.  
 

 

Also possible they keep McKenna when Hays is back and Stowers only up a couple of days.
