Having spent a week a month in Chicago for 4 years and coming from NY, what they call pizza is 3lbs of Mozzarella with some sauce on top. I found it inedible but some people clearly like it.

Pickles, not cucumbers (though pickles are of course made from cucumbers).

No string beans.   A bright green relish.
