Nick Maton singled in two runs to tie it in the top of the 4th.  Maverick Handley crushed a liner to third (107 EV), but the 3B snared it and doubled Haskin off third.  FWIW, Daniel Johnson is playing exceptional baseball at AAA with OPS around .980 with 9 HR's.  He's going on 29-years old and has had a career minor league OPS of .795.  So, it's not likely he has a future here, but one never really knows.

We are going to play Hays until he gets his avg above the Mendoza line. It will help his trade value.

He’s hitting like .320 with a 45% hard-hit rate since he came back from his injury, so I guess that won’t take too long if he keeps it up.

Man I'm sick of these rain delays.

I think we dodge a bullet tomorrow (I'm going).   Game is at 1:05.   Looks like serious line of thunderstorms will come through Baltimore between 5 and 7 pm.   Game should be well over by then.
