Crochet is an offseason target, not trade deadline. He probably has too many IP already this year let alone trying to pitch in the playoffs whether it's starting or relieving. -
We aren't the only team with talented prospects that will be interested in Crochet. I personally believe it will take one of the top 3 prospects and Kjerstad/Cowser. It will not be cheap and they are looking to get a real headstart on a rebuild and this is their biggest chip. -

I'd like to see what those numbers would look like for Cowser in 624 innings. Not saying he's not good out there, but he's still barely played ML CF. He's played the equivalent of 17 games out there, which is nothing. -

I think they do too. I think Getz is fixated on getting an elite prospect, forgetting how poorly that worked out for them in very recent history--Moncado. -

Grayson threw 122 innings last year, so he really won't have a ton of limits this year. I could see them limiting him if the division is well in-hand in September. Crochet is coming off 12 innings, and TJS before that. Not sure how these two are remotely similar cases.
