 I remember Will Clark saying that during spring training he didn’t care about results. He was just working on particular things, for instance, one game he would go up to bat and he wouldn’t swing at any pitch unless it was a breaking ball, regardless of whether it was in the zone or not. That meant that he wouldn’t necessarily get a lot of really good results, but he got to work on Hitting breaking balls.

Rehab results don’t mean very much.
