This Gregory Soto guy seems to have really terrible stats. Why did we want him?

Years ago, maybe 2005 or 2006, I called in to Mark Viviano’s radio show on my way home from a game. He answered during a commercial break and asked for details on what I wanted to say on air. I went thru my stuff, and when he came back from commercial he intro’d into my question by basically stating everything I had just said to him as tho it was his topic, then threw it to me. I had nothing more to say bc he’d said all my stuff.

Always had a bad feeling about him after that.

Agree totally. Soto has really awful stats. A 1.5 WHIP? .265 opponent BA? Don’t see it.
