Bowman has done nothing to lose his spot. The walks in his last start were totally on Hyde for leaving him in too long.

I have faith in him and his amazing sweeper.

He should remain and be on the playoff roster AND first RH out of the pen.

Webb will come up for Povich or Kremer imo.  If Kremer needs to go on dl he will be the option if not Kremer then I expect Povich starts this week then sent down.  The days off coming will allow us to go back to 5 man rotation and Irvin is pitching better the Povich along with no options.

We have off Thursday then 6 games then off Thursday again then 3 games off Monday.  I expect them use those 2 off days in 5 days to start to line up the rotation for the Yankees and try to get Eflin, Burnes, and either Kremer or Suarez in that series if it still close.

Good observation. Probably just out of desperation. I don’t think we had Rivera yet, and we had just sent Mayo down. 

So we were actually a little lucky to get a RH stick off waivers that could play 1B/3B in Rivera.
