I said he "has to get back there" so I agree its a mental error, but I can see how it happened. It was a great catch.

With most players I'd agree with you, but it happened a couple of times in the Yankees series where he was on 2nd and it was taking two hits to get him home. I think he was just trying to make sure he'd score from 2nd or once.

The baserunning mistakes last year and in the early part of this year have been maddening. I just don't put this one in that category.

Hendrickson hasn't exactly been fooling anyone tonight, but when the Rays hit the ball hard, it seems to go right to the fielders.
