Tulowitzki

Interestingly, he played on the same AFL team as Reimold and Fiorentino last fall, and while he outhit them, it wasn't a rout.

Tulowitski .329/.398/.468

Fiorentino .263/.364/.442

Reimold .284/.406/.398

Of course, he's a year younger than Reimold and 18 months younger than Fiorentino. A terrific young player and that's great to see.

I like him, but let's not forget:

Home OPS+: 146

Away OPS+: 94

Doesn't the fact that OPS+ already adjust for park effects suggest that Tulowitzki is particularly well-suited for Coors, or that he's particularly good at taking advantage of his home park? Kind of like how Roger Maris taught himself to jerk an inside pitch over the 296 sign in right in Yankee Stadium? The park advantages and disadvantages are there for everyone, especially those who play their home games there, but value is increased when one learns to exploit those advantages more than other players are able to.

Fair, but the fact still remains that he has a .719 away OPS.

He's only 22 but that is a bit worrisome to me.
