Orioles are one of the teams that the Twins have contacted in regards to Justin Morneau

I'm not sure if he'll only cost money. He was claimed by the Dodgers last August and the Twins could have unloaded the entire portion of his remaining salary but didn't.

The Twins aren't trading him unless they get some young pitching in return. They only have to pay him one more year, and he's a fan favorite. What are they going to do with the extra money saved this year? If they wanted to save that money they should have traded him over the winter. They can use him now hoping he gives them some offense and then move him at the deadline. He is not a fit or us.

A new thread was started a few days ago by Old King Clancy on the previous page (Page 18):

Just throwing this out there. How much would it take to get Justin Morneau?

Because of the similarities to the thread stared by Flip Cup back in Decemeber, they were merged with, hence giving the appearance of a bumped thread.
