Agreed. Not only did he get a bad jumop, he didn't look like he got a good read. on top of it, Markakis looked like he was running with two cement blocks on his feet. A decent RF catches that ball.

Broken bat single then a fly ball to medium right that Nick couldn't get to because he's playing way too shallow. Seeing eye single plates another. Putting the first two runners on is on Jake, but I see a lot of bad luck going on here.

I don't know how many times I've seen people make excuses for Jake, and it's always not his fault and bad luck that he gives up huge innings all the time.
