Obliques usually take a minimum of 2-4 weeks to heal. Sometimes longer.

O's would be best served to call up Gausman soon if Garcia and Jurrjens struggle, which I have no doubt they will.

The decision to stand pat with the rotation this offseason could really prove to be a huge mistake. We have depth, but we have a lot of guys who are injury-prone, including some of the potential replacements.

Yup...Wada is most likely to get pushed into the rotation sooner rather than later.

Gonzalez is DL'd, Chen likely the same. That leaves a mediocre Hammel, an off and on Tillman, and a twilight of career Garcia. This could be a major problem.
