O.K. manager-wannabees, do you let Hunter start the 9th or go with Johnson who only threw 6-7 pitches last night?

I'd definitely stay with Hunter. But I'm sure that won't happen. It's the 9th, gotta go with the closer.

      Good summary. This would be my guess as well. Won't stop people from repeating proposals that make no sense and then getting mad when they don't happen.

      Toronto up 8-1, hate rooting for the Jays. They blew a 5 run lead last night and got destroyed. No matter the results, the Yankees pitching has regressed badly.

      Your logic totally eludes me.    He was excellent last year.  He has been excellent in May and June this year.   He’s not the same pitcher he was in 2022 and before with the Orioles.

      Good heavens, why didn’t you understand that? When he was with us before he was terrible.you can see his walk rate was never good with us. I was overjoyed when we traded him to the Marlins, and except for last year,  he was a headache with them too.  So I am concerned, and with reason, that if we buy him back, he will again be bad with us, so no thanks.
