While the Orioles have certainly had their ups and down this season, they have at least hovered well above the .500 mark for most of the season (for the last 3 and-a-half months, they have been at least 5 games or more above .500.)

The Royals, on the other hand, have gone from 17-10 to 21-29, to 34-34, to 45-51, to 62-54, to 64-64, to their present mark of 73-67. :eektf:

Will they (somewhat similar to the Pirates this year and the Orioles last year) finally have their first winning season since 2003, and only their 2nd (winning season) since 1993 ???

Wow, that's a crazy season. Seems like every time they get their heads back above water, they crash.

They may have turned the corner now, though.

They didn't make the playoffs, but they finished with a solid 86-76 record, and their first winning season in 10 years.
