This Orioles off-day is a tad sad for me ........ but winning yesterday's game and salvaging a 4-game split with the playoff-hungry Rays makes it a little easier.

 

By the way, the Orioles are 2-0 since MongoBoy started making the game threads.

They've also won every game since Cal Ripken (and bobmc)'s birthdays!   Or as Jim Hunter might intone, "The Orioles are on a multi-game win streak!"

Probably the most optimistic I’ve felt in an off day in long time. 2/3 from the best team in MLB(record wise).

Third best record in the majors, and we've played well against the three teams directly around us:

2-1 v TB

1-2 v ATL

2-1 v TEX

5-4 vs the other teams in the top 4 in MLB (Dodgers are 5, haven't played them of course).  Very much holding our own against the best.  If people can't be optimistic today, then they just can't be optimistic period.
