On the surface good news... but it took a couple of months to determine that Bundy needed surgery.

It's been at least several weeks since the soreness appeared and apparently it's not getting better very quickly.

If we have to carry two catchers, and play Matt at DH, means Cruz is the everyday 2B and Young is a pinch hitter, and Lough a pinch runner / defensive replacement.

Offense and especially defense are taking a big hit.

Wonder if Weiters could play 1B at least until Davis comes back. I remember he played there in the last.

Bundy had the flexor mass deal and needed Tommy John. Norris and Hammel had it, and did not.

Don't see a need......pierce has been fantastic both offensively and defensively at first as a fill in.

Let wieters rest and play dh, Cruz play the field and pierce man first.
