Interesting sidelight on Manny's hearing.

Dan Duquette and Manny met with Joe Garagiola Jr today. Joe Garagiola, Jr. is the senior vice president of standards and on-field operations for Major League Baseball. Garagiola was also Buck's GM at when he managed the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was there when Buck was hired. He was there when Buck was fired. I don't know what role he played in Buck's firing.

Buck did not go to Manny's hearing today.
