Brittany Ghiroli has some news about him. Clevenger is a little too much into himself. Side note she's seen enough of Ryan and Lough.

She thinks Joseph and Hundley are THE guys the rest of the way as there isn't much realistic chance to acquire a good catcher at this point.

She thinks Clevenger concentrated on his offense too much and let his defense go by the wayside.

"I don't want to see Ryan Flaherty anymore...I don't want to see him get any more at-bats. I don't want to see David Lough get any more at bats."

Wow, Britt. Wow.

My heart's all a-flutter.

Hey she is keeping it real.

I love it. It's great to hear someone in the legitimate press saying it, too. Pearce should be playing. Young I don't love, but he should be the first option off the bench, at least. Lough should not be playing at all. Neither should Flaherty.

She went off on Davis too.

Amen!

I do like Flaherty's flexibility, but doesn't he have options? We can send him down and maybe his bat will get hot and help us down the stretch.

Seriously. Britt is easily the best reporter of this team.

"Too into himself"? Is that a quote?

She went off on Davis too.

I started to tune out a bit towards the end. But I did hear her say that he looks "lost," like he's constantly swinging for the fences, etc. I do think his failure to hit against the shift (or even try with any kind of consistency) is frustrating, and his swing looks awful. I'm not going to admit defeat on the Davis extension question until the break, at least, but it's certainly starting to look less and less like Davis is a cornerstone-type player. Just makes me appreciate AJ that much more. For all his faults, how many prospects and one-offs have come and gone since AJ got to Baltimore, and how many are still standing?

Buck didn't like when Matt went down he thought the job was his. He would check the lineup card to see where he was batting not worried about his D.

Adam by far is the best player on this team.
