I doubt it, based on who does the bulk of the games when Kevin isn’t in the booth. And I have no doubt that the Orioles know public opinion on the subject. When I ran a poll last year on who was our best PBP announcer, Brown got 93% of the vote. So the few posters here who don’t like him are in a very small minority. -

Bumbry got off to an absolute horrid start to his 1974 season. According to his SABR bio, he held out and then never made adjustments when pitchers adjusted to him. -

I don't want to get overly excited, but I'll gladly admit I was wrong if he can get back to Baltimore. It looks like his average velo is down a couple of mph from last season. Hopefully that's just because he's essentially still in ST. -
And... I can't understand why Stowers didn't get the call. Defensive comparison aside, he can actually hit LH pitching. -
Think of the circumstances. He’s in the game for half an inning, for defense, in a one-run game with a runner on base. If he can’t keep his head in the game in that circumstance, he has no business being a professional baseball player. I seriously mean that. And, while I’m not a huge McKenna fan and am aware he’s had mental lapses, I don’t think so little of him as to think he wouldn’t be focused at that moment.

Only threw 15 sliders last night (19%). Last season he lived off his slider, using it at a 31% rate.
