Absolutely. Even ignoring the price. TJ can go multi-innings, can actually get some rightys out. Nothing spectacular but a good piece.

That is hilarious. I know every pitcher has a hitter he absolutely dominates (even mundane pitchers), but I always got a laugh at how frustrated Ortiz would get when Brian Matusz was done with him.

Matusz is probably on the bubble this off season because of his salary and he might not make it to opening day with the O's. But I would not bet that Pat McCoy will be his replacement.

Agreed. I think it's likely that Matusz doesn't come back, but I think it's less than 50/50 McCoy makes it. But no reason not to acquire arms.
