Not exactly a Palmer quote post, but on Monday night 7/26 Braves game,my son and I had seats cin section 34 row, right behind home plate. Sitting beside us were some baseball scouts, one of whom was Pete Vuckovich who works for the Mariners. Later I learned That while pitching for the Blue Jays he pitched a 2-0 shut against Palmer. I know how Jim likes to wax nostalgic may have mentioned on the air.o

I liked last night's quote about Baltimore traffic, it was during the play where the ball bounced off of the mound/Tillman and JJ fielded the ball and threw out the runner at 1st. He was talking about how when traffic is bad you have to reverse course and find the right path. It came out of nowhere and although it took a while to get to the point, he did so beautifully.
