Yes because of the coach that died last year from the line drive to the head, it's now a league rule that all base coaches wear helmets.

Larry Bowa was reported to have refused to wear the helmet and would take a fine if that was necessary. But I think that he changed his mind and started using it too.

Yes. After the minor-league 1B coach (Coolbaugh) got killed by a foul ball last year, it's now a rule that all base coaches must wear helmets.

Tony - what do you think about the backup catcher position. So, far it looks like both Quiroz and Heintz have been hitting the ball well. Who gets the roster spot and would the third catcher go to AAA? Let me know your thoughts.
