That sounds good, then a reasonable person looks at the numbers and see's that Matusz has been worth more than his salary this year. I know it's hard fathom for some, but an ERA+ of 173 isn't too shabby. He's been worth 1.1 WAR this year.

When your games routinely depend on 5 inning pitchers like Tillman who then implodes by walking multiple people, then doofuses like Matusz and Chaz Roe, it is not surprising we are headed to the cellar.
