Almost perfect move by the Yankees considering their current situation. Castro and Gregorius make a young, solid, relatively cheap middle infield that can stick with the team while their bad contracts come off the books.

Zobrist is a questionable contract for Chicago, but his positional flexibility allows for someone like Javier Baez to take over at 2B later.

Do you think the Os would go after Heyward/ Gordon or is Span/fowler more likely. I haven't seen too much of fowler but seems like he would fit our lead off spot. Would he come cheaper then Span?

If I'm surrendering a pick it isn't for Fowler. Heyward, possibly Gordon but his age and the ask on years doesn't make me feel good.

Starlin Castro is awful.

Span/Fowler more likely. But the rumor is the Orioles are thinking Upton if Davis leaves.

No, because of Span's injury concerns. But Span will probably sign first since he has no QO pick attached to him. Fowler is in that gray area regarding giving up that pick and I think he'll be on the market a while because of it.

Shelby Miller to the D'backs for Inciarte and potentially others.
