I think Buck has a few other options, and Buck has ranked Kim at the end of those other options. Since he never plays, it is difficult to assess whether Buck's ranking is correct or not.

I'd say we have seen enough to know that he didn't need to go to the minors for more seasoning.

Yes, I notice that as well. The guy always seems to be happy and always congratulatory. Other times, he's just hanging out holding a bat.
