Do your homework. Brian Gonzalez has the same value as a comp pick would have and probably a little more.

Then why does MLB.com have him ranked behind the guys the Orioles took in the 3rd and 4th rounds in the Orioles' Top 30 prospect list? Hell, they have him ranked behind Little Yaz and Oliver Drake. Both MLB and Fangraphs give him a grade of 45, which is basically 5th starter/setup guy. I'm fairly confident the Phillies believe they can do better with a pick in the early 30s.

Just what do you want the Orioles to go out and do? Make trades for the sake of trading? They're undoubtedly working on stuff, but there's no reason to pull the trigger just to feel it go.
