Tillman is in the 4/60 range maybe with a vesting option. He is a solid #2 who may be a #3 on this team when Gausman and Bundy pass him.

Dec 2nd is the next move date. Worley and McFarland are probably non tendered. Then Dan picks a Rule 5 guy at the end of the winter meetings.

The catchers are flying off the board which may cause him to move a little faster that he wants to.

How does Tillman only get 4/60 when Mike Leake gets 5/80 when there was more SP supply in the market?

Solid #2? In what world? Don't forget his 2015 when he was worse than Ubaldo.

Tillman is going get paid. You can't forget that he pitches in the AL East, so he gets a bump for that when comparing him to the rest of the league. Stick him in the NL and he becomes Jordan Zimmerman.

Tillman is a no. 2/no. 3 starter IMO and those guys get 80-100 million these days. 5/90 seems about right to me, although I usually underestimate because there is always some team willing to overpay. I may let him walk depending on how guys like Sedlock/Akin develop this season.

I agree. The other option would be to trade him while he has decent value. Our pitching would be very thin but I feel he is more expendable, and more of a risk to regress, than Britton and Manny, while having more value than Ubaldo/Gallardo/Miley. I would listen to offers on Tillman.

Tillman still has one arbitration year remaining which MLBTR estimates at 10.6m. So that lessens the contract compared to a FA. Tillman probably wants to stay. The O's don't do 5 year contracts. Tillman knows that. I think the O's can talk him into 4 years and a option year.
