Orioles name McDowell pitching coach and Mills bullpen coach

I'm especially psyched for Millsy in the bullpen. Not that Chiti wasn't great, but Alan will fit in perfectly out there. He's put in the work as PC in the minors, but he's put in the ML time in the pen. Just seems to me like he'll meld in just perfect out there.

Happy for Mills to get this chance. He was good in Bowie and was great with fans too.

I wonder how Mcdowell's "tough love" approach is going to fly around here?

In addition, Coppy and co. have been openly critical of how young pitchers have developed this season and one wonders if McDowell’s “tough love” has not had the desired effect on many of these young pitchers.
