He scores poorly in both pitch framing and sequencing.

I'll take a .260 hitting catcher that will give you a .750ish OPS and close to 20 HR.

If the Orioles were concerned about that, they would have shown interest in Castro and I would think show more interest in Suzuki.

I wasn't conjecturing about what the O's are worried about.

I just know a fair amount of fans here are all in on pitch framing metrics.

Posted in another thread, but I'm all for this at what should be a pretty modest price. Understanding the aforementioned defensive limitations, his bat would help replace presumed losses of Trumbo, Wieters, and Alvarez.

We could do a lot worse, sign him up.
