No derision. Pedro is just a much more advanced hitter.  And about the same defensive value.

I don't think there's enough data on Kim to really know.

As limited as Kim is, Pedro is awfully one dimensional.    I'm not sure I'd like that tradeoff.

No he isn't.  He's a half-fledged MLB hitter.  His OPS is almost two hundred points lower against left handed pitching.

So he's half a DH.
