Yeah, DD and Angelos were sharp cookies right there in not going for that fourth year for Nick.   

I would not be surprised if we are saying something similar about Adam in a few years when we don’t resign him.

What are everyone's thoughts, about re-signing Nick, this off-season?

Bring back the fan base a bit with a fan favorite. Yes, he'll be 34, but I would be all for it. Provide some team leadership, to what figures to be a young Orioles team, next year. Provided we make trades, like we should.

They should have re-signed him back in the off season when he was a FA  Managemrnt should have re-signed Nelson Cruz. I remember vigorously arguing to re-sign both of them. But Duquette didn't want to give either of them a 4th year. One of the reasons I want Duquette gone.

He’s got a real good chance at 3000. He’s leading the NL in hits. Even if he only gets 200 hits this season he would be at 2252 at season’s end. 6-7 more years of 150ish hits and he gets there by age 40. 

This might be the season that punches his ticket to Cooperstown.
