He's still not convinced, either.

I used to be the same way about this stuff... I would sit glued to my laptop until ungodly hours of the morning waiting for news to break and I'm not sure it ever happened like that. Maybe I'm just old now or cynical or whatever, but I don't believe anything until it's confirmed by multiple reputable sources. 

I definitely saw Mark Teixeira's mug @ M&T Bank stadium that night. AND I corroborated my suspicions with a local sports guy on the sideline!!!!!! Can't speak to a "WOW" offer, obviously
