They had no other good option.   Now the question is whether he chooses to stay in the organization for the rest of the season.

They all break, even Nolan Ryan. Of course he didn't break until he was in his 40's. Amazing when you consider how hard he threw.

Tillman wasn’t getting outs at A ball.

It sucks that his career has to end this way.  Maybe now Tillman will consider surgery.  That is the only chance I see him making a comeback.

So we are still not making a clean break. If he pitches in AAA he is wasting a roster spot and hurting the development of some viable player.

So tough for this organization to make simple decisions

My guess it's the only paying gig he has, so he'll stay in Norfolk.
