Escobar was a good insurance policy in case the Rule 5 guys didn’t look like they were worth keeping.    Luckily, they appear reasonably likely to be up to the task.    Good luck to Escobar.

Yea like we cut some of our best hitting outfielders and kept one who cant seem to hit. Not mentioning any names.

I bet they will try their best to pick up a SS for AAA that has some big league experience.  

Escobar did not look too good the times I saw him. Having two SS’s with zero big league experience is interesting.

I know Villar can play SS but I hope that does not happen.
