Branden Kline optioned to Norfolk

Seems a bit strange. Bullpen isn't exhausted, Kline wasn't thr worst pitcher, ect.

Do they bring up another pitcher, or are they bringing up another position player and getting a 4 man bench, with everyone banged up?

I don't get this move either. I like Kline, I think he has some potential. If Sisco catches the ball, the run doesn't score. Very puzzling move.

I imagine we need a fresh arm and he’s tbd logical choice to go down, but imagine it won’t be for long.

He has a 5.60 era and options, is this really so surprising?

no AAA experience. Elias is pretty adamant about players earning their way up by dominating each minor league level. Kline was here by default.

He's given up runs several outings in a row. Perhaps they've asked him to go down and work on something in particular that they see as an impediment to his success.

Fresh body.   We’ve used the bullpen quite a lot on this road trip.    We’ll see Kline again.

Kline been used lot given up runs in most all them he still just working way back to full load so probably just giving him a breather down in Norfolk few days rest on the trip back then ramp it back up in 3-4 days.

Considering the fact that Dan Straily is still on the 25-man roster, yes it is.

He will be back.I bet down on the farm, the guys are placing bets on who gets yanked back-and-forth the most. 

We have seven guys in the bullpen, I wonder how many of them will never get sent down at all, or, having been called up will never be returned? I cannot remember whether John Means was called up early in the season or started the season with the club, but it sure looks like he’s not going anywhere unless he’s traded.

I’m reluctant to say the same about anyone else, even Mychal. He’s been very inconsistent, as has everyone.
