If you're referring to the 50 millionth fan, he was actually from Ellicott City (my hometown! represent!).

I don't want to jump to conclusions, but it would stand to reason that if the guy's from Ellicott City he's probably an O's fan. Gosh I hate to think of how embarrassing it would be if not only was the guy a Sox fan, but he was from the Baltimore area.

Sweet, that's all I needed to know. I was trolling around the Red Sox boards trying to see if anyone had caught onto the contest and was suggesting that their fans wear Oriole gear for the chance to win this prize. If they knew about the promotion nobody was saying anything on their boards.

The team (Greg Bader) came out a few days ago and said they would basically hand pick the 50,000,000th fan. They were treating it like a door prize as opposed to a "contest". There was never a threat that it would be a Red Sox fan. I hope you weren't losing sleep.
