August 27, O’s vs. Nats, Juan Soto hits it in the 1st inning against Wojciechowski.   The ball travels 411 feet and ties the game at 1-1.

What do I get when I’m right?

wrong.  close, but wrong.  That hit will be reviewed and determined that it was not a homerun and Soto will be called back to second base.

August  31st against the Royals- Dozier. Ynoa- 5th inning.

Optimistic on two fronts:

-- making it all the way to the last day of August, later than most of the other folks chosen dates

-- Ynoa still pitching in the 5th inning

32 HRs in 8 games by NY this year is also a record for any visiting team, breaking a mark last set in 1957 (29).  The surprising thing is NY "only" has 9 vs Baltimore in 5 games at Yankee Stadium .  Anyhoo, tack on 5 more the next two nights from them.

6 Yankees hit HRs tonight.  Ford, Torres, Judge - all slackers, no HR for them.
38 Road, 9 home, 47 HRs vs Baltimore in 14 games.  151 vs rest of MLB in 99 games.

Can I change my answer to August 7?    What a pathetic display last night.
