The very young are not at risk at all. I am not sure why you keep saying that.  And even for the young and healthy the risk you end up in the hospital on an incubator is higher than the risk of anyone ending up in the hospital for the flu.  So say you have 1 in 200 chance of ending up in ICU if you are in your 20's.  I mean that is still a significant risk. In fact in Netherlands there are more people under 50 in ICU than over 50.

I dont consider myself at high risk, yet, I have elderly family member that have age and health conditions that make them at high risk.

I also work in an industry that can be done from my home and telecomunting either.

But if you have immune deficiencies like this guy ,you have a greater risk. Also read about some 25 yo ,in I think South Carolina in ICU with no known health problems. Could be an outlier. Or was an unknown until hospitalized.

A lot of doctors and nurses who are younger are getting it really bad.  Seems like it might be repeated exposures at high rates that rates that might be doing them in.

There will always (repeatedly) be super deadly diseases that truly devastate the population. Like the plague. Viruses are ever-evolving just like every plant and animal. BUT... there will always be some percentage of the population who have some mysterious immunity from it. And they will survive and repopulate.

A second, unnamed Yankees minor-leaguer has tested positive for coronavirus infection, per Jon Heyman of MLB Network (via Twitter). The prior positive test emerged two days ago.

The Yankees and the rest of the league have already halted Spring Training, of course. But this transmission is surely the result of prior interactions between the players.
