My bad. I didn't know there was already another thread about this. Mods feel free to delete this one.

I did read the article though, and what I took from it was Bundy was allegedely using this blend, along with a string of current Angels players, so it seemed feasible that he had continued to use it last season.

But if he was using it before last year than him using it last year, if he still was, doesn't explain his improvement.  (I think an abbreviated season explains his improvement)

From what I gather a majority of ML pitchers use something that is currently against the rules to improve their grip.  Trevor Bauer used to rant about it before he hit his walk season then he joined in.

Rosin and pine tar?   Gaylord Perry is in the Hall of Fame.  2 time Cy Young winner.  5 time All Star.  His autobiography is  titled  "Me and the Spitter".

I do think they should either amend or enforce the rule and the random enforcement is annoying.  Remember when the Marlins GM made himself the manager and got Matusz suspended?

I actually heard about this from his Twitter and I thought he is ranting about it still/now.

It’s almost like it did exist. Wow. The more you know...how crazy

If only there was just a really quick way to increase spin rate. Like what if you could trade for a player knowing that you could bump his spin rate a couple hundred rpm overnight...imagine the steals you could get on the trade market! If only that existed...

There is only one solution. It's time the boys accept Dad's huge mistake and release the bum. He won't even try out for another team. Just walk away in shame.

But...  But...  he's been working on his game in the off-season, and he's looking forward to Spring Training and stuff.
