Shh, not so loud.  The Blue Jays killed their distinct radio broadcast.

That’s a pretty bad move. I have to wonder if the TV crew will feel obligated (or be nudged) to spell out what’s happening on the field despite that being readily apparent to anyone watching.

Today's game MARCH 1ST!! Is televised in Philly so I might... get to see it on my rogue site. See how it works this year. Last year ST it was VERY dicey. "Double plus ungood" Mr. Norton was quoted as saying.

TV: NBCSP+
Radio: 94 WIP (No O's radio)

I don't like it, but I understand why there is no TV.  They didn't want to put out the resources to bring a crew and equipment to Florida.   What I don't understand is why there is not 100% radio coverage.  If the talent and equipment are there, what else are they going to do?  Why not broadcast every game?

I would imagine they keep a set of TV equipment in Sarasota. Wouldn't make any sense (to me...) to ship it down there every year, then ship it home again. Not for only  5 or 6 ST games anyways. Their only cost then would be to fly the announcers and crew there and pay them.

The bolded is a very valid point tho. Why not do every game then? Or many many more games anyways. o.O

One example is Minnesota. They broadcast a LOT of their home games. I've watched many home games there. Nice stadium btw. Nice grassy knoll down the 1B line for folks to stretch out on.

Are these generally posted online later so people can view them on demand?

Speaking on behalf of hypothetical individuals that may or may not have cut the cable cord.

The MASN games (esp. the 1:05 games) are rebroadcast at 7:30 and 11:30 on MASN. Online, I don't think so.

I know my post wasn't very clear....my bad for that.  I was actually asking about the MLB network 30 Teams in 30 Days episodes.  If we don't watch it this Thursday will we have a chance to see it online later?  I forget how they normally handle that.

I am pretty sure the segments will be available online within a day or two of the broadcast.

When is the MASN App supposed to launch?  I know we had that news report back on 1/25, but since then  - *crickets*.

Still a work in progress.

Is MASN available through an App/Online?

MASN is currently only available through our cable and satellite providers. Out of market viewers can watch Orioles and Nationals games via MLB Extra Innings or MLB.tv.

Looks like many if not all of yesterday’s segments are up on Orioles.com.
