2021 Minor League Transactions

With all the prospects in the system (instead of just 30 names to fill out the list), sometimes other players get lost in the shuffle and the moves aren’t always known. I’ll update this thread with roster moves as soon as possible. I’m sure @cboemmeljr will have more news at times and better scoops!

Unfortunately, let’s start with some releases at the end of camp:

Wow, really surprised about Zach Muckenhirn. Wonder if it was something off the field because he has a good arm.

Unless I overlooked him, I didn’t see Jean Carmona listed on the rosters.  Did he get cut?

He was on the alternate site roster, seemed destined for AAA. Very odd.

Heard he pitched very bad this spring and leadership was not a fan of him. Good arm though, but lack of command was a big issue. Someone will give him another chance.

Could be injured and at Extended Spring Training.

I’m hoping with the season starting Tuesday, I can find more news during the next two days.

Carmona just isn't very good. His tools aren't that great and he just had very little strength.

Michael Baumann is now listed as being part of Norfolk and being on the injured list. 
 

So is Nick Cuiffo, but we knew that part.

Andrew Daschbach, who has played 2 games in Aberdeen, was moved to Norfolk. No corresponding move yet.

Little behind, as moves aren’t really announced anymore.

But Richie Martin goes on the IL in Norfolk and OF Zach Jarrett moves up.
