Major league stadiums don’t sell beer after seven innings, they don’t sell alcohol at all, and there’s a huge drop off in concessions sales after the 7th. The ticket has already been bought, parking has already been paid for, why not send them home two innings earlier and save all that money?Late evening advertising is cheaper, so ownership is saving money by giving the fan 2/9 less than he paid for, and the fan has no choice.
