MASN had a really good pregame segment with Brett Hollander and  Alex Fast from pitcherlist.com.   Primarily discussed Mullins, but also Mountcastle and Wells. Apparently, Mullins is one of the top two hitters in baseball against the slider (along with Acuna).   Also stated that if Mullins played all his games in Yankee Stadium he would have 24 home-runs. 

Mullins success against the slider is even more impressive when you consider he is one of the most productive hitters against 95+ fastballs.  It makes me think he’s not cheating on the heat.

Injury notes: Hyde says Hunter Harvey will be out a month or so.  And that Travis Lakins' elbow injury is "serious".

Domingo Leyba with his first homer!  Very nice.  Somewhat interesting bat, with a career .901 OPS in 600 AAA plate appearances.

Iglesias hacking to his knees like he was Bo Bichette I thought sure would be bad karma for a low power guy like him but danged if he didn't justify it on the very next pitch.

It isn't a good sign for what hitters think of Akin if the Jose Iglesias-type guy is doing stuff like that.
